The history of the company began in 1872, thanks to the talent of a young cabinetmaker from Nakskov, from whom the brand takes its name, who obtained the license to market his products in Copenhagen. His creations are of the highest quality and success is not long in coming, spreading his reputation throughout Europe. Already at the beginning of the twentieth century, many important projects see at the center of all the furnishings of this brand: Christiansborg, the University Library and the Copenhagen City Hall, the Supreme Court and elegant and sumptuous private houses. With the introduction of a new technique, the steam bending of beech, the company specializes in the production of laminated wood furniture, with an exponential growth from year to year. In 2011, the collaboration with Jaime Hayon confirmed the success of the brand in the world, with the creation of furniture with great beauty and functionality.
