The Y Chair, from Tom Dixon, has a distinctive silhouette. Its ergonomic shape has been especially engineered to provide support where it's needed most - lumbar support for the lower back, space for the spine and a generous brace for the shoulder blades.

The Y Chair, from Tom Dixon, has a distinctive silhouette. Its ergonomic shape has been especially engineered to provide support where it's needed most - lumbar support for the lower back, space for the spine and a generous brace for the shoulder blades. The injection moulded glass-reinforced nylon seating shell is incredibly strong, withstanding daily knocks and heavy use, made possible by the short overlapping strands of the glass fibres. This sled base version can be stacked up to eight chairs high. The steel base has a texturised power coated finish in either black or white which coordinates with the seating shell.
