Joan designed by Jean Marie Massaud for Poliform is a sofa with a wooden frame and variable-density polyurethane foam, pre-upholstered in cotton canvas and polyester fiber. The backrests are made of flexible molded polyurethane, with optional matching cushions. The feet are made of aluminum painted in a matte brown nickel finish. Removable fabric upholstery with a grosgrain insert in the same finish.
