1919 Ultime Notizie designed by Renzo Frau for Poltrona Frau is a padded armchair with a supporting structure in solid seasoned beech, hand-covered in leather with a complex process that reaches its peak in the pleated scrolls of the armrests and the famous capitonné motif of the backrest. In the capsule collection created in collaboration with Fornasetti, the 1919 bergère armchair is covered in Pelle Frau® printed with one of the most characteristic patterns from the Fornasetti archive, the “Ultime notizie” decoration. It is a trompe l’oeil motif composed of butterflies fluttering on a carpet of newspaper clippings, reporting news from all over the world.
