Abbracciaio is a candleholder designed by Philippe Starck with Ambroise Maggiar for Kartell. Although candles are no longer used to illuminate rooms, candles continue to shine with the creativity of the designers, thanks to media design that give them a contemporary appeal. Abbracciaio is an aluminum casting of two face to face shapes which are transformed into a loving embrace. The two structures are hooked for stability of the object. Elegant and poetic, Abbracciaio carries two candles and is made of polished aluminum, available in gold, silver and gunmetal.
