The frame is seasoned beechwood with polyurethane foam padding. Support for the seats is provided by an elastic suspension system. The seat and backrest cushions are padded with polyurethane foam and Dacron. A pair of leather-upholstered buttons enhances the workmanship of the backrest and seat cushions. The ends of the fittings found on the sides are made of chrome-plated brass. The feet are available in ash-wood painted white or black with an open-pore finish. The upholstery is available in Pelle Frau® leather with “Pony Skin”.
In particular, as concerns the ‘Ponyskin’ leather, the arrangement, the colour and the shape of the ‘spots’ is entirely random and, as such, no choice can be made. We would also specify that the colour of the abovementioned ‘spots’ is not uniform, and tends to vary from shades of brown to black.
“Pony Skin” leather This is ox leather whose typical marking is reminiscent of elegant, thoroughbred horses. It is carefully selected for uniformity of the marking and the down, so that harmony and balance are achieved for the upholstery. The various sizes of marking make each upholstered item different from the next and therefore unique.
