In 1921 Bernand-Albin Gras designed a collection of office lamps, with a simple profile but resistant at the same time, without screws or welded joints. The lamps have become iconic for the twentieth century, especially for their details: the brackets, armrests and stems was of a completely new and unexpected originality. Le Corbusier himself was fascinated by the collection from the start, and soon became a supporter of Bernard-Albin Gras.
